Hi, my name is Jerry Beck. I am the owner and chief guide for Greenwoods Outfitting. Greenwoods Outfitting began as a dream I had since I was a small boy–to be a guide and outfitter earning a living doing what I love. I guided my first hunters for pay in 1977. I did years of apprenticeship with friends and relatives prior to that. I still love and live hunting 12 months a year. If I go on vacation, it is to hunt.
I am fortunate to live in Menominee County, Michigan (upper peninsula). Our location has always been considered one of the best places to hunt whitetails. Deer hunting is what we do here; my friends, family, and employees live it. We are always testing and teaching each other. We know there is still a lot the whitetail deer can teach us. That is why we are always doing our homework at Greenwoods Outfitting.
